Throw your garbage / El Zabaleen Band - Egypte

A group of musicians from Cairo, Egypt have created a musical project where they make music from garbage and recycled materials. This began off as an attempt to raise environmental awareness amongst Egyptians of ages and social backgrounds. Once this group began achieve a large amount of success, they expanded the themes of their songs to included social, cultural; as well as political issues in Egypt. The band consists of 4 percussionists that use garbage and recycled materials, a guitarist; a saxophone player, and a singer.
